 | Best way to ship a big item? What is the best and cheapest way to ship a big item like a trans., engine or both? I bought a trans and its about 5 1/2 hours away. I figured by the time I drive for a day and 2 tanks of gas it may be cheaper to have it shipped. Anyone know what a 200r4 weights? TIA

| Check Greyhound, you can look it up online and get a price quote- they only ship terminal to terminal, so you gotta take it there and someone has to pick it up. I sent a pick up truck front core support (big and heavy) from ne ohio to upper michigan, ups fedex and dhl said it was too big- greyhound shipped it for $35- HTH's
