| Just Got My Stage 2 Conversion Low Mileage GN Done And Home! Thanks Jack Cotton After many years of gathering parts and getting ready, my low mileage 1987 GN's Stage 2 conversion is DONE. Jack Cotton did all the work and let me tell you, it is top notch. Lots of custom fabrication that looks like it could be factory, even the heater/AC box delete is meticulous. I even had him custom make a 4" downpipe and single 4" exhaust that exit's out behind the passenger side tire. It is so bad ass the pictures won't do it justice. I am very happy with the fairness of his approach, depth of knowledge and eagerness to help at every turn. I hope all of you that can will take a peek at my car at one of the events next year. The car should be capable of mid-lower 9s and run in the 10s on 12-15lbs of boost.......we'll see. All I can is WOW! Thanks Jack www.EpitomeExclusives.com/epitomebuicks.htm Last edited by Epitome : 12-03-2005 at 06:22 PM. |

| Spoke to Jacko regarding my current combo and he told me to bring my car up to Mass. to get it finished. I know you wanted perfection with your car and if you weren't going to get from "Jack Cotton" you wouldn't have continue using him.

Now for the IC temps......... if I only could have gotten my camera working yesterday, I would have posted pics of what looks to be the next and newest generation of IC's for the Bad boys....... just finished up another one and all I can say is Wow.. Now of course looks are one thing, but with some testing as soon as possible, we'll have some data I am certain will support the level of performance that even the MAT police can't cry about... Ted, As always a pleasure to do business with you. Over the years Ted has been an outstanding customer to do business with. He is patient and, no doubt knows what he wants. Does his homework and appreciates what we are capable of doing. But, I have to admit, the real talent at my shop has been my son. Brian is absolutely incredible in his pursuit of perfection. For a kid that is 21 years old, been working with me all his life...... and actually doing the majority of work the last 3 years on these cars, I am impressed at his level of professionalism and expertise. His fabrication ability goes way beyond his age. I would say that is due to his love of these cars from a very early age and me giving him a rusted out old Ttype when he was about 15. I told him we should gut it and send the body to the junkyard, he said no, let me patch it........... I want to fix it. Well he spent the winter metal fabbing, patching this thing up, putting a cage in it, repairing wiring, he gutted and reassembled it, himself. Did an incredible job, I knew then he had the talent and drive to be one of the best. I look at Teds car, the GMHTP project car and I am stunned and proud of what he is capable of..... so much for being a proud Papa........... | |

| IN all seriousness, Jack, you and the crew did a gorgeous job on Teds car. There are only a few people who I would let touch my car if I needed something I couldnt do (which really isnt anything) but, you and Billy A are at the top of my list. Dont know if that means anything or not, but thought people looking should know. What you did with the "Pumpkin" is amazing, considering I knew that car when it was a 11 sec "almost stock" car. Brian has evolved into an excellent tech. Hell, I remember him armor alling your tires which almost put you in a wall when you were gunning for 10's in the "pre-pumpkin" days at etown. Glad he stuck with it! Great to see good techs stick with it! Hope your daughters grow up as with the same drive... You know my poke was just for fun man, I meant nothing more by it. I think you know that, but again, people looking who dont know us should know.
