Well the weather is the weather, so no passes yet, but this will be more of the occasional cruise street car, with a couple trips to the track for fun and tuning every year. While the car is ready to go, everyone who has done anything like this knows that the tuning is just beginning. I am very careful and take my time so as to get it tuned right, no bonzai runs out of the box for me. IF there is a clear enough day to get to an open day at Atco I will make the trip down, but that first trip will again be for tuning. I expect the car will be in the 10s by mistake. I'll keep you up do date. The team at Cotton's is great and Brian is clearly a big part of it. His detailed work is is worth the wait

Looks very nice!! I have been reading the article series in GM HighTech Performance that shows Brian Cotton performing different mods. It seems to me he has a real passion for his work and it shows!

Ted's car Is a work of Art... The Pics are great, but dont compare to the real Thing....
I was at the shop Through out the cars Transition. I stopped up Fri Night Ted was there loading up the car. I think the grin on Ted's face may need to be surgically removed. Then again, Once he turns a # He may need to reschedule with the Doc. Brian's Fab work Is 2nd to none. The cold air kit he fabbed up again like the rest of his work Is UNREAL
Mike
Just realized after looking at Ted's pics... cold air kit Is on Franks car GMHT 10sec build up

Nice car!

Cottons did great work again.

I think Brian Cotton was only about 15 when he put my turbo and FMIC in, plus most of the work since. Always does a great job. He LOVES these cars - I think we talked Buicks the entire way to Buicks at Bristol and back from Massachusetts to Tennessee

I hope to get to the track to see your car.

That cold air kit on my car is 5" the whole way....including a 5" outlet K+N. It all clears, nothing rubs.

I thought Jack Cotton was one of the good guys....now I'm reading about him SLAVING out his children.

Had I known you to be such a low down scoundrel I wouldn't have purchased my GN1s from YOU!!!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!

Keep up the good work. Now I'm jealous of Epitome's car.

Jack looks like you fixed the slope at the top of the end tanks, that is something i did not care for on the old intercooler.

Actually Mike, the slope was out of neccessity, not design, due to the width of the original cores. I was finally able to get this new core the width and depth I wanted and the rest will be history. To be perfectly honest with you, I am working on an upgrade for the original core to modify the end tank slope to maximize air flow. I am almost certain it will make a differance for the higher HP applications that will make everyone happy, or at least most everyone.... the original core is rated in the 1,000hp range, no reason it shouldn't support that.
If anyone wants to discuss this further, I thinkwe need to start a new thread, I do not want to get off topic here.
