Can we stop the Drama...............

PLEASE

I had a long drawn out post but I deleted it because I didn't want to add to it. You guys need to handle this behind the scenes so it DOSEN'T have a negative affect on the hobby or community.

Can you please explain what drama and especially how this negatively affects anyone except the people that choose to get sucked into it?

All I asked is for the bullsh*t to stop and keep it behind the scens. Thats it! I know I'm nobody but G.D. this is childish. Most these guys and gals are well over 18 years of age deal with it like a adult. Message board are a great tool if used properly and this is not properly.

Drama not in the theathrical sense but in a way of over reaction to something. All the RRR (don't want to sat GSAC)drama going on between the boards. You need to make a forum for just that crap. Let the people make up there own mind and deal with that person by buying or not buying thier products or service.

Negativly affect someone that is new to or looking into buying or being invovled in Buicks(not just GN or T-types). If they look into both boards for information on Buicks or for others with the same interest what do they see? They see a bunch of faceless names that are acting childish by slaming each other and not getting no were. They won't see the real Ed or Steve W. who have what seems to be endless knowledge on these cars. So that Mike is why I stated "so it DOSEN'T have a negative affect on the hobby or community."

And you our correct by stating "except the people that choose to get sucked into it?" I choose not to but just put in a request and thats it. I have nothing further to add to this.

I'm new to this board, but not to forums. I've been on many boards that the members slam and flame each other, along with other boards. The two that I frequent now doesn't let that happen, or get out of control, rather. This is a fun hobby, and these are some great cars. I'm looking forward to getting back into Buicks, and learning what has changed in the past 10 or so years to make these cars better than ever. So, let's stick with that, and have some fun.

Having been around long enough, I know that in matters of general BS on bulletin boards, your worst enemy can turn into your best friend in a matter of weeks...or less. On matters of money, on the other hand, I have seen feuds go on for years and years with no end.

I wouldn't worry too much about the general BS, and courts can decide the money matters, I suppose.

we need to all get together, pass around the beers, and put it all behind us. honestly they have to work it out. if you read the post it looks so far like ed and some others have tried to fix some issues with numerouse PMs, emails, and calls to certain people. this issue got big though- so it make take a while. you just have to let it run its corse and see what happens

i agree with zap- somone you cant stand on a board 2 weeks later might be at your house wrenching on your car and laughing about the childish stuff that was said.

"Keeping things behind the scenes" is pretty dysfunctional, & only perpetuates the problem(s).

Abusers (of any variety) & their co-dependent enablers run from the light, much like Dracula & his spawn.

Interesting analogy.
I've always found that if you take someone's BS,they'll keep giving it.
No more.
Three people don't run the entire Buick community.
The Buick community runs itself.
It's high time some people learned that.

The TR Revolution Will NOT Be Televised

THE TR REVOLUTION WILL NOT BE TELEVISED

"You will not be able to stay home, brother.
You will not be able to plug in, turn on and cop out.

You will not be able to lose yourself on skag and skip,
Skip out for beer during commercials,
Because the TR revolution will not be televised.

The TR revolution will not be televised.

The revolution will not be brought to you by Xerox
In 4 parts without commercial interruptions.

The TR revolution will not be televised.

The TR revolution will not be brought to you by the
Schaefer Award Theatre and will not star Natalie
Woods and Steve McQueen or Bullwinkle and Julia.

The TR revolution will not give your mouth sex appeal.
The TR revolution will not get rid of the nubs.
The TR revolution will not make you look five pounds
thinner, because the TR revolution will not be televised, Brother.

There will be no pictures of you and Willie May
pushing that shopping cart down the block on the dead run, or trying to slide that color television into a stolen ambulance.

NBC will not be able predict the winner at 8:32
or report from 29 districts.

The TR revolution will not be televised.

Green Acres, The Beverly Hillbillies, and Hooterville
Junction will no longer be so damned relevant, and
women will not care if Dick finally gets down with
Jane on Search for Tomorrow because Buick people
will be in the street looking for a brighter day.

The TR revolution will not be televised.

There will be no highlights on the eleven o'clock
news and no pictures of hairy armed women
liberationists and Jackie Onassis blowing her nose.

The theme song will not be written by Jim Webb,
Francis Scott Key, nor sung by Glen Campbell, Tom
Jones, Johnny Cash, Englebert Humperdink, or the Rare Earth.

The TR revolution will not be televised.

The TR revolution will not be right back after a message
about a white tornado, white lightning, or white regals.

You will not have to worry about a dove in your
bedroom, a tiger in your tank, or the giant in your toilet bowl.

The TR revolution will not go better with Coke.
The TR revolution will not fight the germs that may cause bad breath.

The TR revolution will put you in the driver's seat.

The TR revolution will not be televised, will not be televised, will not be televised, will not be televised.

The TR revolution is no re-run brothers;

The TR revolution is live."
