Dear Michelle,

I must say after seeing all the threads on all the Buick boards I am very upset at these slanderous remarks. This attacks my personal integrity and my business ethics as well. If anything, for well over 15 years I have served the community and not only sold thousands and thousands of dollars in parts, but I have also always provided and repaired more cars than I can remember. Having known and helped you for many years, this comes as quite a shock to me?

Months ago you asked me to get your car in running order after being stored for over 2 years and it had a trans not operable as well. I even offered to buy the car rather to save you the expense to ship it back to Florida after you refused, what I considered a very reasonable offer, considering its condition. You have received over $3000 that I have sent you so far for parts sold, and told you I will pay for any parts I personally use.

My numbers are always listed, and any member of the boards can always call me to reach me for help, assistance and anything else that comes to mind. I have been away over a week, therefore if you sent me a certified letter, nobody was home, the same goes for e-mail or phone calls. However after reading all these allegations and slander, I will give you the opportunity to make a public apology, as you know there is much more to your story that is being told.

If you refuse to apologize for not only attacking my business, but also my integrity and my name, you can deal with my attorney. If you would like, I am home now, and will be available the rest of the week. You have my numbers. I refuse to participate or help someone who attacks me and makes personal attacks on a message board, I am beyond that in this point in my life.

Rod Taylor walked off the job after a, non related to the Nats. race program, private $$ grudge race between two racers was held. One of these racers did not even stage while the other did. From the burn out box, the one not yet staged simply launched and left from the burn out box with the other car still staged and waiting for the opponent. In other words, he red lighted by about a week in advance. Obviously he got to the traps first. When the "race??" was over, the car that red lighted stated he won because he went thru the traps before the other car. An argument ensued between the two and Rod stepped in and said it was an unfair race and had to be re-run. The red-lighter verbally assaulted Rod and included racial slurs and etc. within it. John Chamberlain then steps in and tells Rod and the racers that the red lighter wins and should get the $$. (WHAT ??) After John's display of an absolute lack of fair, sound, or any good judgment and not supporting and backing him, Rod understandably walked off in total embarrassment and disbelief.
Nick was asked to replace Rod in the interim after this debacle. By replace, it was meant to take over the authority and controls that Rod had. No more, no less.

You did not ask for the position. Unwisely, we asked you to fill in just to get the event back underway and completed which was after getting Richard's approval. It was well after that it was thought that you might be the person to permanently replace Rod and assume the responsibilities that he had been assigned. It's now very evident that with your attitude now being displayed, it was a huge mistake.

Back in 2003, you overruled James West and allowed Willard Brown to race in TSE with two obvious rule infractions i.e., illegal tires and a required head light not in place.
AND HE WON THE RACE !!!

There was no flaw in the turbo spec rules. The turbo had to have "one round opening" and not a ported shroud as was on the illegal TSM car’s. Also, that type turbo did not meet the 6 months previous being available stipulation.

Who or what racers ? To add authenticity to your claim, would you advise us who the specific racers were, what class was involved, what rule was changed or established for their benefit, and about when each instance occured ?

Cal Hartline advised us that in his opinion along with the other TSO racers he spoke to that it was illegal in more than one area.

Why did they have to be there ? Nearly every club member that was racing TSO this year was there and observed it. James West was there in 2003 and 2004 as was Scott Simpson in 2004.

Rich, I think you should join the GSCA again and shoot for number 5!

I don't think it would take all that long.

i know not alot of people like nick- but i must say he bailed me out a bunch of times when i needed parts fast and told me- just put a check in the mail when you have time. i dont get involved with the race classes, so maybe hes different around there?
