>>>The way we accomplished that was by way of yet another new Rich's Custom Auto product the "Rich's Custom Auto Triple Three Bar Map Sensor" or RCATTBMS for short.

What we do is take two additional three bar map sensors and magically "T" all three together and that gives us the flexibility to run up to run up to 91.2 psi of boost (thats 30.4 times three just so ya know).

So when my boost gauge went around two full turns and then some I knew I had room to spare and the RCATTBMS was there to monitor the situation.

And to monitor boost levels that high with our FAST system we just magically USB cable connected and bungee corded two additional laptops together so that when the boost level goes above 30.4 psi it transfers to our 2nd laptop and once we exceed 60.8psi it goes over to the 3rd laptop. I then hit the "S" key to save and name the file and read data from there, easy as pie.

If you need anything else explained just let me know.

We had been prototyping a GM 7 BAR MAP sensor but we were having trouble getting the correct 24-volt reference signal. We also tried a MAP sensor from a Duramax but that was also giving us trouble. Necessity being the mother of invention Rich and I put our heads together and came up with the RCATTBMS. Initially we were going to call it the Rich's Custom Auto Maxi Mount Triple MAP Sensor or "RCAMMTMAPS" but it didn't seem to roll off the tongue like RCATTBMS. It's all about the marketing....

Hi All,

Just wanted to say I ran a new all time best today 7.35@185 at Atco today. I went down kinda last minute by myself, Artie couldn't make it as he had shoveling to do.

I get down there and hardly a sole is there except the track personnel, it was almost like a track rental and I figured I could get maybe 12 or 13 runs in on the day.

First couple passes were shakedown passes as the track was a little cold and unforgiving, not to mention we were testing our new Goodyear RCA S&IS (Richs Custom Auto Snow & Ice Slicks).

The air musta been really good today and we were finally starting to get a handle on the tires and track conditons and on our 3rd pass netted us a low 8 second pass at 19-20 psi. Thankfully our Maxi-Plant Wheelie Bar was doing her job, planting the car straight and hard upon launch.

I added some more fueling to the FAST and decided to go for broke and take all lines off the wastegate and go for it.

Launching the car at 30psi was quite a hoot and the MPWB slammed into the pad hard and car took off like mad, inbetween trying to shift and keep the car straight and hoping the snow & ice slicks would do their job I swear I think I saw the boost guage go around twice maybe three times. Flashes of light few around me and I was sawing on the wheel as she was a real bucking bronco out there.

Next thing I know I hit the chute right before the traps and I knew it musta been a strong number, well low and behold I pick up the time slip and it reads 7.35@185. I was elated and even the few track officials there were jumping up and down at the cars performance.

The sad part of it was being as tho I was really the only car there as most thought the track wouldn't be open with the snow and all and only myself and the few track officials got to witness the pass. They told me they would back me up on it tho.

I would scan and post the time slip but on the ride back on the NJ Turnpike my pesty passenger side window in the Richs Auto F250 tow vehicle won't stay up and I think the slip along with some other papers and napkins got sucked out of the window.

We now have the 2nd fastest Turbo Buick in the world right after Bill Anderson and in looking at the data from the run at 68 psi of boost the FAST was pulling out about 10% fuel most of the run which means there is certainly more left in her. Who knows maybe a match race with Bill at the Nats may be in order

A performance like that I doubt I will ever be able to do again, I dunno maybe I just got lucky on that run as everything hit on all cyclinders, the FAST was FASTING, the RCA S&IS tires did there job, the MPWB did it's job, I caught the sweet spot of the groove, proper air density and yes maybe just a little luck.

I still can't believe it, it's like a dream come true. What a way to start the year off
I'm calling bullshidt on that one. You may have all the rest of these guys fooled but not me...noooooo sir not Nasty Wendy. And how do I know this you ask.....because you would definately have to have a BOV on your car for it make 68#s of boost and not snap the turbo shaft like a pretzel stick when you let out the throttle. All that boost being trapped against the turbo would have to be released with a BOV or shaft snapping is inevidable. Shame on you for telling such a tall tale.

Sorry, but he could never stuff you under the hood! It will not pop the shaft if he never let's off....That is why he has the twin parachutes on the car.

>>> Erik,
We're always ready to lend a hand when it comes to Buick/NHRA/Snowblower comedy.

Bear in mind, putting out a cyclinder and throwing a belt like Artie and I did with our snowblowers this past weekend is no joke.............we don't have NHRA competition licenses for nothing ya know.

It is thru the use of safety rules and the NHRA in conjunction with NSBA (Nat'l Snowblower Assn) that Artie and I were able to save ourselves from what could have been a very nasty situations with our snowblowers. The confidence and trust and passing of the said competition licenses rules and not to mention physicals ensures that Artie and I can handle a snowblower down to 7.50.

It was evident that in Artie's near disaster he had to call on every bit of his driving abilities to reign his snowblower in and not crossing over the center aisle of the neighbors driveway and he still tried to win the race......Amazing test of both man's courage and machine.

In comparison me "just" losing a belt meant I was a DNQ for the weekend and sure we did a little chassis damage but nothing that can't be fixed.

Overall it could have been worse, thankfully Artie's around to blow another day

That is some funny poop and that little rainbow you added in, it's colorful and you made it move like a real rainbow almost like magic and the rainbow you added goes like 24/7/365. So if we did nothing till the end of time your rainbow will always be there moving like magic.

Nice job (look my mugs of beer will keep chinging forever and ever too)
