Angry Made in China

Pretty much everything I looked at on Christmas day was Made in China I wish it wasn't so but that is the reality of it. I think next year I plan on trying my best to get everything Made in the U.S.A.

Cool

Would you rather have it made in Iraq or some other country that hate the USA. We have been shipping stuff to Mexico to make for our GM cars for years now. Most of the GM parts I have been replacing on my T have been made in Mexico. I shop with looking where it's made all the time but it's impossible to get everything in USA only. I don't own a Toyota or Honda. They are made here in Ohio.

Happy Holidays,
Artie

Ya know it really scares me to think about where the next generation is gonna work. No new factories being built in the US anymore. My company just finished building a plant in China. Now they keep throwing in our face "China can make it cheaper"
Well, WTF do you expect when all you have to pay them is 2 bowls of rice and a fish head? American can't compete. We need to put an import duty on EVERYTHING from China to bring the playing field equal. Harley did it in the 80s with the jap bikes and it saved the company. If we don't do it soon we will be a 3rd world nation.
Think it wont happen?
Think again

When you get high quality labor like this US Worker you wonder why companies go overseas. Do you think John Lee in China will be out thrashing the company that puts food on his table. The quality of US workers has fallen into the garbage can.

Cool

Just to add about quality:
Our Buicks were missing body bushings (made Dennis Kirban rich by selling them).
The car without them didn't ride and handle as well until it was installed.
I am on my 6th car made here. I can't keep noticing the quality of some of foreign cars are superior to ours.

let's face it, it's all economics. the competition for our dollars has everything to do it. if one can sell it high for the least amount of money to do it, well then why not.

When I hit 21 I think I grew up. If you took your lightning in for warranty and these clowns took it out for a lunch cruise how would you feel? Just kids having laughs right

Buick deliberately left the bushings out to "tune the ride"
