Racing the Challenger in Orlando This Weekend

Got the car loaded up to try our luck at the World fastest street car shootout in Orlando this weekend .We went a 6.58 217mph this year at 2925lbs(very heavy) with the mufflers on.Broke the track record in osca.
Hope to see Kendal and Mike S there to continue from where we left off in Kentucky.LOL

Just a note Terry (the driver )is 22 years old and has been racing since the age of 15.

Maybe 8-9 years ago at Cayuga I saw a very quick car that the driver Downtown Terry?? Brown & he either died or was severly burned on the run I saw. Looked like he died? Any relation to your driver? Might have been a Jet Car but not sure being so long ago? I just remember the name. Curious maybe his dad or relative??

No,not him or any relative.The worst thing that happened to terry was around 4 years ago in Houston Texas .The tranny blew up and caused his car to flip at half track on the roof.He still went throught the traps with the shoots open at 8.20 at 168 mph.I got pictures of the whole thing.All you see is the side doors blow out and the lexan windshield go in the air around 100 feet and the car turned hard and went on it's roof.Then it crossed the finish line with the two parashoots open.He wasn't hurt the car was toast.

I think I remeber what you you were talking about.It was a jet car and he was burned bad and lost a arm.

That sounds like it. Back then it took like 15 mins for the fire truck to come and the car was about maybe a foot tall after melting & he was still IN IT!!! Couldnt beleive how long he just sat there burning!! My wife was going why arent the trucks here yet?? That was poor safety conditions that day!! Poor Guy!!

We went down yesterday; had a great time! The Challenger went 6.80@200 and was qualified 10th as of late last night. Hope they do well today in eliminations!

When Big Mike gets back, ask for the "on the hood" video footage..he'll know what you mean.

Well, That was fun.Thanks to Mike Savino for letting me and Louie crash at his place Friday.No hotels that day.Thanks for the Help kendall and Mike on Saturday. Well ,we were # 2 qualifier on friday with a 6.75 at 200 mph.We melted 3 pistons and wrench most of the night. Mike Morran was heating us up at the staging lanes on that pass.
They complained about our zoomies(mufflers) with were legal and we even call 3 weeks ago and they said they were fine.Oh well,we put another set of mufflers on and on that pass hit a 6.82 but the muffler came off and terry got off the lean out button because the noise made him think something was hurt.Thanks Kendall for helping us put that back together.
Sunday ,terry was a little out of shape and just touched the wall and got back on it,7.40 and that was it for us.

Terry wanted me to let you guys know he had a great time....the girls in the swimwear made our day also.
