Free Blackberry devices

Yes, free. My company has about 200 of these that they are giving away. They are the Blackberry 6210 pictured below. They are new devices taken out of the box and used for a demo. They come complete with all accessories, software and boxes. You pay shipping and must take over the cellular contract of your choice through T-Mobil. Plans start at about $35/month. If you have bad credit and cannot get a cell phone contract then this is not an option for you as you must be able to take over the contract to get the free device. These devices still sell for about $300-400.

I'm also going to be listing these on ebay and sure they will sell for at least a 100 bux apiece.

The data and voice-enabled BlackBerry 6210™ features:

Email, phone, SMS, browser and organizer applications in a single wireless handheld
Increased memory for greater application and data storage
Full-featured connected organizer with PC synchronization
International roaming support
Smaller form factor with a light and comfortable feel
World band handheld, operates on 900/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS wireless networks, allowing for international roaming between North America, Europe and Asia Pacific

Not sure if Tmobil is in canada or not, if they are not you can buy out of the Tmobil contract for 200 bux and the device would still be free if you want to go with a dif carrier...

The devices themselves work all over the globe however depending on your carrier.

Cool

The next question would be:if you brought it up here[or anywhere else for that matter] could you link it on another system?
I tried looking into putting my Bell phone onto a Telus plan and they told me no go.
Gotta' buy a new phone to do that.
However I'm also told that the digital keys can be changed in the phone and the phone used on another system.
Sounds like they just want to sell phones up here instead of getting new customers.

Generally the answer is yes, it's just a matter of switching SIMM cards to whatever other carrier you want. Your best bet is to double check with them to make sure they have data plans and can support this model I would think.

Rogers AT&T offers Blackberry service in Canada, reasonable costs as well. Just bring your Blackberry in and get a new SIM card for it and you're rockin' out.
