Is this a good deal for a t type?

I found a 1985 t type for $3000. 134000 miles. It's silver with blue interior. Needs paint job & bumper fillers. Interior is nice. Runs greeat. All stock. Is this a good price? Thanks.

I would think the price is not to bad but the question is do you want to go fast?
It cost alot more to make a 85 fast than it does an 86-87.
Paint job will be 2000. You will then have 5000 in a car with 134,000 miles. Mine has a 130,000 and I don't have any problems.
You might find a lower priced car for about the same money.

About half that would be a reasonable price IMO...

It really depends on how well maintain it was IMHO, was the timing gear changed? oil changed every 3k, does it have a G80 rear, want other options are on the car? yad, yad, yad

I payed 4k for mine, lots of options, 52k miles on a peg leg
Yes for alittle more I could of had a SFI that needed work & faster.
It really depends on want YOU want to do with it, offer $2,200

Jim

You may want to consider a career as a Used Car Salesman. That was a very smooth line of BS that you could use to pull the wool over the eyes some dumb SOBs.

Thats going to be one of my New Favorite things to say now .

I had a nightmare once where I dreamed I was covered in meat-eating fishing worms. Still not as bad as thinking I was Steve! Please stop suggesting such things!

I need a proof reader, better glasses, or learn how to type, or all of the above!
