| How do you shrink a .gif file for use as an avatar? I have several .gif files that I'm thinking of using as my New Custom Avatar but they are too big. How can I shrink them? They have some animation. My tested and true Black Hole / Eclipse Avatar is going on a long deserved vacation. |

| You need to go into your graphic program and resize the GIF to "custom size" then put in 75x75 That should do it. If it won't open then convert to a .jpg

| You are correct. If it's animated leave it .gif There is a limit on memory on the avatars so you may have to try different sizes to get it to upload. Like 70x75 or 60x60 The more memory the smaller you have to make it

| Nasty, if you don't have a gif animation program and you want to keep the animation, you can email me a few and I'll see if I can shrink 'em down to fit! <---(it worked on mine!)
