| Junior Member | Sadly, it will be a little while before I could buy one. I would want to sell my car first, and I can't really until I get out of tech. school (2 or so years from now). I guess that gives me plenty of time to look and not make a hasty decision.

| Junior Member | Sorry about the ford remarks. I have just have had bad luck with them in the past and I have NEVER had a problem with a GM car/truck. Sorry, I will keep the bashing to myself. I do love lightnings though. I would like to pick one up one day, maybe to tow my buick to the track! wink I am not in tech school yet, but I am going to go to Wyotech in July. I am going to go through the collision/refinishing coarse. Ive been wanting to do that since I was in the fetus, if you know what I mean. I guess it is sorta a dream of mine, a dream that came true! Again, sorry about the ford remarks. I guess I just need to be around them more than I already am. It will never happen agian, I promise. [ August 30, 2003, 03:09 PM: Message edited by: sparky ]

| Junior Member | Hey, while I already look like an idiot for bashing fords, here comes a stupid newbie question. What do Regal T's run in the 1/4 stock? Is there any good informative web sites that have some good information like that, horsepower, torque, 0-60, 1/4, ect. ect.?

| I want a Z06 | Yeah they suck the doors of inferior GM products yup yup A Typical 86-87 Turbobuick stock ran low to mid 14s. I have seen them at the track recently running 15s so after all these year who knows. It's the fact that you can make a mid 14 second car run 12s in an afternoon for under a grand and do it without changing how the car drives from stock. Thats what makes the Turbobuicks RULE powersix P.S. Wendy has has an 02 Lightning and I have an 03 Lightning. I just sold a 98 LS1 Trans-am that was the biggest POS. I also have an 89 Turbo T/A and Wendy owns an 87 GN. We just like giving the Buick guys a hard time headbang [ August 30, 2003, 04:15 PM: Message edited by: TTA89 ] |

| How can you tell where a Ford owner lives? Look for the two mailboxes. One for the regular mail and one for the Ford recall bulletins! Ha ha ha ha ha ha! headbang
