Well, you get those big mean bullies from Massachusetts and a compulsive masochistic like the Love Bug who not only drives a hot earred missle (sic) but whose idea of a big night is to throw rubber off his one spinning tire all over the local Sunday school teacher and then throw in a hot tempered admistrator who does not like being called out in public, and what do you have besides a run on sentence? Instant flaming.

The real question is why do bs threads on racism run unchecked but as soon as an advertiser is taken to task, an administrator shows up to point out the board is run for the benefit of the advertisers...Wait, that is not really a question; it answers itself.

What is a question that answers itself called? Oh, yeah, stupid! But wait, there are no stupid questions, right? Wrongo, Keebler, question the wrong administrator and it gets stupid right away.

Everyone hit the Paypal button and send Mike a dollar 'cause we got it so good here!

Gotta love the moderator's attitude

"...Furthermore, why the hell should we be made to feel like we OWE someone something, much less an explanation? I swear to Christ, the next time someone demands an explanation from us on why we do things, and I going to mother****ing ban them on the spot..."

I stayed silent for some time now regarding the self interests of the individuals running that website.

First... it was the crash and loss of all technical data/posts... Since they just don't understand what's involved in properly running a website I'll do my best to give them some help. www.pcmag.com (I assume they do know how to read)

Perhaps they can look into someone else managing their resource "turbobuick.com" for them.

Second... the moderators of that arena have more than a couple fingers drifting beyond their keyboard. Ever hear this one before? "Sit on them and rotate." This is in response for how they have projected their love and respect for those who have made their endeavour a popular one within the turbo Buick community.

BTW... I'm also banned and have no hurt feelings over the matter. This is how they reward those who refuse to adopt the company line. They prefer you to be mindless and not formulate an opinion other than the one they will provide for you.

Now, Louie, whom did you offend this time? Surely you did not think the autocracy was truly benevolent?

Herbie likes the attention over there. He is a martyr without a cause.

Why don't you shut up and go to bed, Steve Wood?

Herb's bitching posts are the only good reading on there.

Steve,

Surely you don't expect me to admire their lack of social grace?

IMO those who hang out in an arena moderated by someone who doesn't even own a turbo Buick... yet wants the turbo Buick community advertising dollars is not worth our participation or attention.

Surely I must throw on the table the involvement and efforts many of us gave in sharing turbobuick.com with others. Betrayal of followership is the issue in this instance, and like neutered dogs they just don't get it.

IMO he could care less if you participate or not on his "free" board. Admire how he communicates with participants on that board.
Perhaps his supporting vendors would like to participate with the boards participants on that level as well?

"Banning" can go two ways. If you are an advertising vendor associated with that arena please take my personal commentary to heart. You will gain not one more dime of my hard earned money because of your association with that arena. Your banned. Perhaps this will gain support of others?

Funny..... I have never refused anyone anything they ever needed tech wise or other, this board or that one. I am available to all 24-7. So, why am I included in your "ban"? And I am a moderator there. What have I personally done to offend you?
I guess this is what we will call......ah.. collateral damage?
Oh .. and even Zap has had some good reading there as I know of some trans questions that you benefitted from. Like the one you asked.....

Bruce,

I don't dispise you, nor have any negative opinion of you or your offered services. Yet, I won't be giving you a dime for the reasons noted.

We know you won't miss it

I don't believe that board has anywhere near it's posted number of members. Between these reasons alone there are probably hundreds of user names.

1. Change user name for any reason, i.e. wanting a new one, forgetting password, thereby abandoning the old one.

2. Addition of multiple user names per individual.

3. Necessity of re-registering due to catastrophic crashes.

4. Inactive user names abandoned due to lack of interest/further participitation in the board.

Their user count never decrements...
