| I'm at the very beginning planning stages for my next phase of evolution for the RS. I have decided to make her a twin turbo system. I have a few ideas and a few other peoples' cars to base my plans off of. I would prefer to avoid having to shell out for a local shop to custom-weld me a set of header manifolds. Does anyone know off-hand of a shop or company that has chevy V8 turbo manifolds? In a perfect world I would be looking for tubular manifolds that would mount the spools in roughly the same position as the old Gale Banks twin turbo kits for 3rd Gen F-bodies. I'm also looking for any sites with literature to compare and qualify different parts. Right now the 355 is maxing out my 24# injectors at only 4300rpm. 100% duty cycle! This on an engine designed to see max rpm over 6800. It is built for boost. Down the road I may step up to something larger, but for right now I am looking to build a turbo system that can be dialed up to 10-12psi. Will a pair of 60-1 Hi Fi driers be enough? I don't know. And I need to educate myself on exactly "what is what" on the market today. I used to be up on it when I had my 86 T-type (white), but the car was hit and I sold it before I graduated high school - I never had the chance to mod it beyond a chip and a cheap muffler. I'd appreciate any help in the form of links, pics, or info! I hope to have parts purchased and waiting for the Fall to do the install. ------------------ 1991 RS - 95 LT1 355 with GTP top end. | Brett you may want to contact Conley's in Houston (281) 540-3278 they have a vendor that does turbo headers for chev v8's. I would talk to Lawrence (after 0500pm Houston time) he now runs a twin turbo camaro himself so should be able to give you some ideas. Good Luck Neal
