| Eat my Valvestem caps! | My GN was just stolen, I want to replace it with a TTA. Heres my requirements, I doubt they can be filled: I will have between 10-12k to spend. I DO NOT want: a car that needs paint, interior work, or serious engine work, i would also prefer a car thats stock. I know i sound like a jerk, but looking for this car sicne even before i got my GN has had me being tossed around and basically treated like crap, with people trying to rip me off with total trash examples of Turbo Trans Am's, that they think are worth 20k! If youre serious about selling your TTA, and its decent and ready to drive and look good, and are willing to part with it for around 10k or less and its not a piece of trash, please e-mail rogueldr@optonline.net , Trust me it will be taken care of and probably treated better than one would treat their own child! ------------------ --Rogue Leader AOLIM: TransAmWS6 NY Region SCCA #2 ESP 1987 Buick Grand National "Blunt as a rock, but faster than a 'Vette" "Ok now while we're still under caution, I want you to go out there and hit the pace car!!....what for?!?!...Cause you hit every other god-damn thing out there I want you to be perfect!!!" --Days of Thunder

| Hey Rogue -- I know opinions are like, well you know but I'm sending you some advice anyway. Pay a few thousand more and get a good one. Right now there are at least 2 low mileage TTA's on the Buick board. One is a show winner with 18k miles and the other has 7k miles on it. Both 16k. You get what you pay for and depending on how nice a car you want its better to spend now than try to fix up a car with imperfections. These cars originally retailed for 30k+ and trying to appeal to an owner to give a mint one away for 10k is kind of insulting. The cars in the 10k range for the most part are cars that are gonna need work. They'll have cracked leather seats and probably need paint work because the clear on these cars would peel off if its been outside for 11 years. I'm speaking from experiance the money you try to save now on one of these rare cars will cost you twice in the long run. Good luck on your purchase and I do agree there is alot of junk out there. |

| Hmm.. where are these crappy TTA's? I want a black TTA so I wouldn't want to destroy a pristine one with my plans. ![]() As long as the motor is good.. interior, miles and general condition doesn't matter. |
