Chrisk, I agree! They were not suposed to be charging people after 3 p.m. It has been that way since I can remember...let alone when the racing has been canceled since 1 pm due to rain all day. It used to state in the program that the gates were open after 3pm on thursday. I was later told by Richard that this WAS a mistake and it SHOULD have been free/open to come in after 3 but for some reason nobody told the woman at the gate and she was still charging. She told people that they were still charging because the vendors were still there and open. I seen alot of pissed off people turning around and leaving and even more who didnt know better that paid and got ripped off while I was waiting in line.

This was my final trip to BG. I have been going for the last 5 years with my wife and son. 60 bucks a day to get in is crazy in my opinion. We load up the 87 GN and head out on wensday every year. 800 miles each way. No more. Looking for a new event to make the yearly tradition.
