transmission slipping

first to second gear will shift normal at low acceleration. once launching or hard acceleration transmission seems to scream and not want to shift into second. once it shifts out of that gear it is perfectly fine. any suggestions on what it might be. i checked fluid levels and they look fine, colour is still pink.

When you say the fluid level is fine do you mean its at the full mark on the stick or the obligatory quart overfill these transmissions require?

little over the full mark it is.

Get it up to the middle of the s-bend on the dipstick and make sure the tv cable is adjusted properly.
