| in a standard stall converter this works nice, it gives the l/u a shift feel i had a customer remove the check ball in a high stall 9 inch converter & it killed it! i wouldnt reccomend it in a raceing application, but in a pickup with a 700r4 most people love the l/u feel ![]()

| I have tried it with and without. I found it to be a bit too harsh for a street driven car, when it was removed. Disclaimer! I like to have my 3/4 lock up set at low MPH, (cruising) but have the release thresholds set for very light throttle input. Paul
