Question what happened to the transmission

Hey Guys I have the transmission rebuilt at 4500 miles ago...my transmission star slipping. the clutch in the transmission no good. I do not know what happened to the transmission. I remove the transmission to get it rebuilt its ready to install back into the car....their was some metal in the transmission pan. the guy at the transmission shop.... say it my torque converter is bad.. I did not have no money to get a new one. it was 2800 stall. I have the stock torque converter for my car how much is the stall converter of the stock torque converter is ? Car is my everyday transportation. I have a 42.1/2 injectors
a te 60 turbo a poston headers
a poston headers a 3in downpipe
poston crossover pipe
a 340 walboro fuel pump
205/205 cam.
93 chip.... it on my 1987 gn

On the other rebuild was there on Warranty ????

You can use the stock, but the spool up is going to REALLY SUCK.

You can get a good TC for around $295 with a 3K stall

have the torque converter

Hey Ttype83. I have the torque converter look at it was good the torque converter is going to run it. my question is why the clutch in the transmission no good... at 4500 miles ago. I do run my car very hard...... maybe I need to put in a Turbo 350 transmission..... ? I have my car running today let you know it work out for me.

I would say that the rebuilder did not use good clutchs when it was rebuilt before. Even if you drive it hard it still should have lasted longer. 350????? NO, Lots of folks running harder on there cars than you on the 200r4. My trans came out of a 86 GN and has 100k miles on it, needs a new TCC, but still shifts strong.
I drive my car 45 miles round trip it work daily and I'm a bit heavy with the foot.

worn clutches

If the TV cable is not adjusted properly you can burn clutches out fast.
