Exclamation ***New Guidelines For Vendor Problem Threads***

New Guidelines on 'Vendor Problems'
  • As a last resort we will allow these problems to be posted. Please don't post a gripe if you are still trying to work something out with your favorite vendor
  • If you have a gripe about said vendor and that vendor doesn't even know it yet, it's not to be posted here until all other avenues of satisfaction have been exhausted, phone, email or face to face discussions will probably get a lot further than broadcasting things on the internet
  • An upset user/customer will have ONE THREAD to express their disgruntled thoughts with said vendor. Trampling through the board and posting on other threads about your problem will not be tolerated. Airing out your issue in your signature all over the board is also prohibited (thanks to broke1).
  • Don't ride the bandwagon. If you have a problem about a vendor please start your own thread. Jumping into an already unpleasant topic and posting more problems will only cloud the situation
  • The vendor has every right to post his side of the story. While completely optional, please understand people have lives and aren't glued to the computer like some of us, response time may vary
  • Vendor problem threads will be transferred to the 'TimeOut Room’ section if they escalate out of control
  • Threats of violence will not be tolerate
  • Everything will be treated as a case by case basis
  • Anyone partaking in these types of discussions is not to have a 'hidden' email address. Also the Private Messaging feature needs to be turned ON in your profile

I now understand the correct answer to these threads might not be to just leave them alone.
I have realized for a long time though that deleting them all together is not the right answer either.
