anyone going to the 441 and southern show tonight?

I'm planning on going to Denny's tonight (Monday, Feb 4th) if anyone wants to come by.

I also was talking to the owner of Fratelli's Italian Restaurant in the Home Depot Center at Lantana and Jog Friday night and he told me that Ricks Tiki place where the Friday night 441 and Southern show is held had closed it's doors and just the other night, Lindburgers closed up too. He also has a restaurant next to Lindburgers and he said they were going to takae over sponsoring the car show and had arranged for a band and more outside tables. HE and his manager are car guys so this might be a good change although it was great the way it was.

At 441 & Southern? If is every Friday night and occasionally they have a REAL car show on a Saturday. The Friday night deal is just a park, look and talk thing. Not really a show, more a cruise in. BUT there are usually over 100 cars there. If you aren't there by 5:30 or 6, you will have to park at least 4-5 rows over in the parking lot and by 8, it is filled.

Every Monday at Denny's. Very small and attendance varies on season and weather. Usually the same bunch of guys with new people always showing up but it varies. Last night I was there, Henry with his new black T, Shev with his gold T and Dave with a black W4 T. Henry left early and the three of us grabbed some dinner inside.

I went there once about Sept or so and thought it sucked. A couple of us were talking last night at Denny's about the show down in Lantana near the Police Station on Sat hights. Is it worth doing? They also said there was a get together at Sonic hear the Boynton Mall. Anyone gone to that one?

I remember living at the drive-in's back in the late 60's with all the cars and such. Had a 66 427 vette conv then a 69 435 hp vette conv and that was our Friday and Sat night lives. Cruise the various drive-ins. Ahhhhhh, the good old days. LOTS of SYT's (sweet young thangs) too.

Off to locate some line for my air bags.
