DON'T DEAL WITH GBODY PARTS

First off let me start by saying I am thankful I did not place a big order with gbody parts. Whoever is running it does not know how to do business.

Here's the story,

I inquire about a driver side seat belt guide for my 87 gn. I tell him mine has scratches and I want to replace mine with a 'PERFECT' one. So he says they have one I paypal them 30 something dollars and wait. The seat belt guide i got was wayyyy worst than my original one.

So I send him pictures of the one he sent me, and he said he was not the one who sent the item, he will get me a good one asap. I said ok well since you are making it right I also need ONE PERFECT CONDITION UNSCRATCHED AC VENT. I have 1 that has some of the reflective material missing. So i paypal him $17 for the ac vent and he is supposed to ship the new seat belt guide with it. A couple days later the package arrives the seat belt guide is perfect, wheww thanks. The AC VENT however has a lot of the reflective material missing WTH it's worst than my original one. So i take pictures and email him and tell him thanks for the seat belt guide but this ac vent is horrible whats the deal.

So he told me he would send me another one. He told me on 5/14/09 that it was shipped yesterday. I am still yet to receive anything in the mail and he has not returned any my last 10 emails. Now I know it's only 17 bucks who cares but it's the principle. Also it is literally the last part I am waiting on before i put my GN up for sale.

I filed a claim thru paypal and they immeadiately dismissed it saying they can't issue a refund, only if an item isn't shipped. Which i clearly showed in an email saying he was shipping a replacement which he never did, GEE what a wonderful day.

So anyway I just like to say GBODY PARTS

I was just made aware of that and I am sorry to hear about that.

But like I said he said the part was sent on the 13th and I never received a tracking number or a part. You would think if he sent a part it would have gotten here or somebody would be running the business.

Thumbs up Recent Gbody Order

I recently ordered a pillar pod some gauges and a shifter handle. All were delivered at a reasonable time and in great condition.

I purchased alot of items from brian and never had a problem, he even paid an item ( fuel pump ) express so that i may have it for the weekend, I seriously hope the good lord can give brian the strength he's going to need to cope with such a devastating loss, I would feel as if my world would come to an end without my wife. MY SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

It's easy for people to forget that vendors are human, and subject to the same kind of stress and tragedy as everyone else.

Bweavy is a great guy. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again in the future.

It takes time to re-adjust from a family loss. You never get over it really... you only adjust.

Incredible, a man's world is in CHAOS and your worried about a down pipe?
I have respect everyone's opinion and i realize your not happy with your item
but don't you think there's a time and a place for everything? If your unhappy i'm sure when he gets his feet and strength ( which could be awhile)
he will make amends with you, right now i'm sure this business of his is the last thing he's worried about, losing a wife has to be one of the hardest things a person will ever go thru. give the man some peace at his time of dispar. there are more important things in life. BTW has anyone heard or kept tabs on brian? he definetly needs his friends and family now. God Bless.

Yes, fellas, I have an update for you about Brian: I've got a good buddy who works there at GBodyParts who just updated me yesterday: Brian is doing as well as expected. He's still going through a very hard time, but trying his damnest to keep the business going. Brian himself told me that keeping the business running is what his beloved wife, Kaci, would have wanted. My buddy trys his best to keep him laughing, and help him with whatever he can (this buddy is a saint), and he's keeping a keen eye on Brian, being there all he can for him. He's doing a good job helping run the business. So, heed what Yullose/sr-71 said in their post, which I thought was very, very heartfelt and to the point. Cut him some slack. Losing your beloved wife...no words to describe it...how can anyone go on when this happens is beyond me, but Brian IS doing it. In all the years I've dealt with him, talked with him, he's always been upfront, honest, kind and caring (just like Kaci was). So, try your best to help this man through his darkest hour...show him your human, caring, loving side, and understanding. This is the medicine he could use. Think about it...seriously guys...your first Christmas without your loving wife by your side????My God, my eyes are getting wet just mentioning it. Brian has no choice. He HAS to face this. He's trying his best to run the business, take care of all you guys (and he cares) and Christmas morning he'll find a big, cold, empty space next to him. And as he walks out and sees the Christmas tree, he'll really start to think, wonder, and just can't understand the emptyness. I wouldn't wish this feeling on my worst enemy. All you fellas think about this....deeply...and count your blessings. Merry Christmas to all of you on this board, my friends. I've found you all to be a terrific group. I wish you all the best you deserve.
If I could do miracles, first thing I'd do is send a magic cure to all of us who have constant problems with their Grand Nationals and TurboRegas and every problem would disapprear forever!!! Nothing EVER would go wrong with our cars. Na...can't do that...then I'd badly miss you guys here on the forum..nothing to bitch about on our cars.
