Where to get Seat Covers?

I've got an 86 in need of seat covers. Where is the best (economical) place to look?

Thumbs up Seven Thumbs-Up for JaysGN.com

The GM correct color & fabric. Correct shade of black, w/no "green" sheen.

Dress Up

It's always cheaper to do it right on interior parts, because they're seen the most.

Last summer I wanted to buy new seat covers for my GN and I called G-body, Jay’s, Poston and a few others and they all gave me the same song and dance about not in stock and it would be by winter before they could be had. Man I was bummed out till I came across:

Jax Seat Cover

The reason they always have them in stock is because they make them and the quality is EXCELLENT. My seats look as good as when I bought my GN back 30,000 miles ago in May 86.

At least you got a song and dance, I got nothing. I ordered them online at G-body parts in December. weeks went by and no seat covers. I called and someone told me "They were sold out but getting a truck full of stuff in a couple days." More weeks passed, no seat covers. I call again....same rig-a-ma-roll. They basically passified me. Finally after 2 months. (ALREADY PAID FOR TOO)....I send an email stating I'm waiting for covers, and each time I call they tell me to wait a little while longer.

I get a response from a manager or someone who says that he listens to ALL phone calls and no one ever said anything like that? WTF is that man, he called me a liar...what kind of shitty customer service is this? I demand a refund and it STILL takes two more weeks, all in all over 3 months they had my money with no covers. That's money that I could have had in an interest bearing account or I could have found something somewhere else, or whatever. THE ABSOLUTE WORST DEALINGS I HAVE EVER HAD.

If they KNOW they are out of a product, why in the f%&k would they let someone order AND PAY for them? I wish I could run my businesses that way.

Hey btroadman,

The credit card (MC - Visa) rules dictate that the merchant shall not bill the customer until the product is ready to ship. Of course you got the unscrupulous dirt bags like Year One that play that game and how I know from you that G Body does the same thing. In any case never let a merchant prolong the transaction for what ever reason longer than 90 days which is the limit placed by the card companies for a back charge, your only real protection against bona-fide *******! Did you try Jax?

At this point the vehicle is out of paint and I'm probably just going to sell it, so I am either going to let it go unfixed or get the el cheap covers for $150 from Jax.

Thanks for the info.
