| It's the single shot 3" exhaust from GBodyParts, I ordered it and just heard it didn't work out for somebody else... They said the measurements were wrong, and they couldn't get it to work... I've heard nothing but good things about GBodyParts, so I am a bit concerned... Anybody have anything good or bad to say about this???

| You shouldn't have any problems. Brian will stand behind his products.

| With all due respect, that's an answer to a different question. I like Brian and he's taken stuff without any trouble in the past (most recently last week, which is why I've done more business with him this week). However, it's a pain in the arse to try to make a system fit, ultimately arrive at the conclusion that it won't fit, box it up, ship it back and then shop around for something else that might or might not fit. Even though a 3-piece exhaust system is a relatively simple arrangement, I know there are lots of variables that affect whether a system will fit a particular car. I was just looking for more info to see exactly what problems I might encounter. I would imagine the OP has received and/or installed his by now. I'm running out of time to get the car to the track before they close and it all needs to come together this weekend (by 'all' I mean this exhaust system and a new transmission - small things)! Again, I mean no disrespect and I appreciate the replies. Just looking for more info on the system. I'll find out for myself in a few days anyway..... | It didn't work out. Turns out they don't have any in stock and they're not sure when they're going to get more. I need to get this thing back on the road (been up in the air for one reason or another since June) so I had to do something different. Since I was on the fence about single vs. dual anyway I went back to duals, though not in SS. I wanted SS because my aluminized system rotted out. But, as I thought more about it, I had that system for 8 years. I bought it used for $50 in 1999. What more can you ask for? So I got another aluminized system w/ SS (Magnaflow) mufflers. Jim |
