Thumbs up Steve Monroe's Throttle Body Service!!

I'm sure it's already been posted, but I really had to post a positive feedback for this service.

My car had the original throttle body and plenum, so I knew it was due to be freshened up. Well, I checked out Steve's website, and did a bit of reading here and it seemed everyone had positive things to say. So I decided, for the price, I couldn't go wrong.

Well, I emailed Steve and decided to have the throttle body done and plenum bored. Pretty normal. Now here's the thing that impressed me about Steve. I realized that my timing wasn't the greatest because it was Thanksgiving week and figured he'd be busy with Thanksgiving as I was. I emailed Steve and asked if it was a good time to send the parts. He said not, a problem and I assured him I understood if it took slightly longer than normal. Well, I sent the parts off Monday, the 21st. He got the parts on Wednesday. I figured I would probably see the parts return some time the following week. Perfectly acceptable. To my surprise... SATURDAY of that week, I get a package. Saturday the 26th, the parts were returned, cleaned, painted, bored resealed and ready to go. The new throttle body blade looks GREAT. Complete set of gaskets. That afternoon, I bolted everything back up and was driving my car that same day!

In my opinion that's FAR beyond my expectations and deserves recognition.

Thanks a lot Steve!

I'll post pics of the fnished product when I get home from work.

Did you feel any "seat of the pants" performance gains??? Better response, tip in, mid range improvements?

I will say the car runs good now. I was in the process of replacing and repairing several things at once so it's a little hard to tell. But I would highly recommend getting this done. These throttle bodies have been taking our right foot mashing on them for plenty of miles. Steve's the guy to get your TB back to new (or better).

I just realized I forgot to post pics.

Question

Who exactly is this "Steve Monroe"? I have been around the Buick game for a few years now and I don't believe I have ever heard of him? How would one contact him? Does he have a website? What is his Buick Background? Is he trustworthy?

Zap, Actually driving them will add greatly to the pleasure of ownership.
These are pics of the models of Buicks my family owned. My name was never on the title to the first one but it was on the other 3.

Exclamation Driving is overrated

Ohhhhh! you're that guy from Oklahoma that did the work on my hotair throttle body and turbo. Hey, you're good! You even work on hotair throttle bodies!

I got you confused with that other Steve from Texas...now he ain't worth a crap for anything (just ask Chris Garrett).

Bump for a great guy who does great work on DSM throttlebodies also!!

You can feel a big difference even on a 2.0L motor.
