That area is what needs something?? Other than that its very nice! PS: Just a thought??? Could you somehow use the new one to recover the old stocker (making it stick would be hard to do) so it would look almost the same as OEM then. Just all fresh & clean. Would this glue stick to an old stocker? Doubt it.

Is that really an issue though? The one I did in the pictures came out great and the owner really likes it. Outperforming the original is what the end result is anyway, and for less. It won't stick to the old one, not even the decals. The idea is to also have more clearance underneath. Thanks for your words, sir!

| How about?????? Where the logo goes, instead of contouring to the hood, in that "One Spot Only" a backer board type thing (maybe foam or ???) that would then have the logo sit flat. The rest who cares, but the logo would look nicer if flat. Any ideas guys?? This could work. ![]()

That's entirely up to you to fabricate if you want to do it that way. For the month of June I've knocked off $10 from the price, so it's $75 for the liner, $35 for the 3 decals, and $13 USA Priority shipping for a total of $123, $23 Canada Priority shipping for $133. Less than half of what the other guys want.

Not a problem at all, I have an original liner here and I'll match them up for you. Just let me know if you want white or silver. When it comes time to install the liner make sure you lay some newspaper over the decals so you don't get any of the 3M #80 adhesive on them. Remember that the liner needs to be glued to the cleaned hood underside with only that adhesive, 3M #80, found at the Home Depot in the paint section. Thanks!

The liners weigh around a pound to just slightly over. Very durable and superior to the original in performance and life expectancy. Is your fiberglass hood an aftermarket hood? The templates I have for the Regals and GNs are made for stock hoods. If it's the same design then yes, my liners will adhere to a fiberglass hood. Remember: the liner is applied with 3M #80 adhesive once the hood underside is cleaned off with a degreaser, and the hood MUST be off the car for installation. This isn't a big deal and the results are outstanding. Thanks!

Yes, this material is made for heat resistance and soundproofing specifically for aircraft. I adapted it for car use and it performs admirably. By all means it can be used in door panels, trunk lids, etc. PayPal is not a problem, I'm at tbirddmnd@worldnet.att.net Hoodiners are $85, 3 heat-resistant silver vinyl decals are $35 and shipping is $13 in the USA, $23 for Canada. The decals are the BUICK/SUPERCHARGED/Turbo 6 logo and they look great! Today is Labor Day in the USA so there's no mail service, if you order it today it will go out tomorrow. I usually send them out same-day but it's a holiday. Thanks!
