Is this thing gonna be a bust?? It's almost 10 pm and all we have here in MontCo is a frosting. Bring on the blizzard!!!

Neighbors will be out there with their machines tomorrow. I'll whip out my circa 1969 Metal Snow shovel that has outlived 5 plastic POS's! A little elbow grease and a belly full of oatmeal and coffee, and the driveway will be clear. Why buy a machine when YOU CAN BE ONE!!!

Just measured outside and it's 21" so far. Still have about 10-11 hours to go.

Near my parents, the news said 30" already!!! There was thundersnow last night.

I took on a project of doing 'time lapse' photography with my camera on a tripod taking a pic every hour. The view isn't that great, but still shows the snow develop. I'll post it when I'm done.

Okay...lookin' at about 14" this morning. Anyone have a snow blower I can borrow?? LOL

Nah, I'll be shoveling...as soon as the 30mph winds and 24 degrees come to an end.

Actually, they're talking about more snow Tuesday/Wednesday. Only 6". Good luck. Guess you'll just have to stay in Brazil and take in the sights.

Ok, it looks like the snow is finally letting off here. The highest total I've seen in MD is 36" about an hour from here. The closest 'official' reading I have is 28".

I was listening to the radio earlier and they said one county in VA has already called schools closed for Monday and Tuesday!

Probably about 5" here. We lucked out again as far as I'm concerned. Brazil sounds like the place to be!

Gotta love mayor Nutter Butter and the city of brotherly love! By noon I had 2 front end loaders come down my street and clear the street and parking spaces. Then 2 plow trucks came by cleared the streets and salted them. This was all by noon! It almost looks like we didn't get 20 some inches of snow here and it's only 3pm!

Here is a shot from one of my security cameras

atleast my cars safe under all this snow. altho if someone tried to steal it theyd have to shovel out my driveway. that would give me time to load!
