Stoked -

Well we heard from Mr. Cotton yesterday - the car was finally started. Our 10+ year project just might be in the home stretch.

Runs great. Not sure if Jack's going to Englishtown on the 22nd or not so we're not sure what we are doing yet for the point series.

All that is left is body (again - well finshed up); need another axle (one bent - no idea how that occured), another set of wheels and tires, interior (some already done), and I'm sure some minor things. Keeping the PT 88 turbo for now (when this project started that was the turbo) and we did upgrade to the XFI.

If we can get her together before Cecil - I think she'll be there. Can't wait to see her. Jack's web cam isn't that clear to see all of the work. I'll post pictures when I get some.

I'd love to see 8's before years' end.

Might be a Merry Christmas for both of us yet.

Big thanks to Jack Cotton and his crew. He was the only one willing to build us the parts we wanted and tune the mgt system. (Re-adjust cage, fabricate 4" pipes, install XFI, etc) Now I've got to pay the man

Jack's a good member of our community. And hope I finally got one hell of a Stage II Buick.

Kelli

For some reason I thought I had a couple more pics - they could be on another memory card I'm up to about 8 2gigs and a couple 4 gigs. Jim said something about actually copying crap to a drive I guess I'll have to do that some day. Its just that Micro Center puts them right next to the checkout and they're like $5 each...
