try a under coating plug...they come in 1/2" and 3/4" use them when drilling hole for rustproofing...also have hole plugs from 1/4" all the y way up to 1-1/2"

I ended up using up the local store's supply of grommets.

Doug, hop on the lathe and turn down either a piece of aluminum or S/S and shove it in the PCV grommet. Look at the end of my valve cover...worked perfect for plugging the hole. Be sure to make it nice and tight ![]() Scott

| If he's like the rest of us he has breathers in the valve covers and the PCV isn't doing much anyway.

Cool, thanks for the ideas guys. I've used a plugged off "modified" PVC for years. But it has always seemed to leak oil. I figure while it is down for a while I would try to figure fix it "right". As Collin said, I don't use the PVC system. It is designed to be a "closed" system. But as soon as you put a breather on the pass. side valve cover it is no longer a "closed" system. Right now I am running Mopar style breathers in each valve cover with heater hoses running down to the ground. But I've got a catch can that I am trying to find space for, so it no longer vents to the ground.
