Can't wash car anymore in 2009? NJ inside!

A town-run car wash? Council is considering | APP.com | Asbury Park Press

I don't know about anyone else in NJ. This is news to me. Starting 2009 we won't be allowed to wash our own cars anymore? Is this serious? Where can I find out more information about this garbage?

Yeah I read that this morning, what a joke, they should concentrate on the harbor , not some car wash scam.

Seriously. My town is uneventful and bored enough to actually enforce it. That and with nosy neighbors I can see getting hassled. I never even heard about this until this morning in the paper.

This car wash it speaks of is really beat too. It's been sitting for a long time, they got balls asking 1 million for it in the first place. Sounds like someone is getting a nice kickback to me.

Sounds like someone is scamming someone though, it's just a very odd plan. Seems fishy if you know what I mean. I bet someone will be pocketing some major money if all of that goes through.

they would do that up here in Mass to.. then after a year sell it back to the guy for next to nothing because it "just isn't working out the way we planned"
