87 grill on my 86 GN?

Sean (gbsean) gave me a decent 87 grill that needed some repair. I did the repair with epoxy and it came out nice. I cleaned up the grill and it really looks pretty damn good. So should I commit blasphemy and put it on the 86? I like the 87 grill better, but dude....it's an 86. I can't decide. My other alternative is to trade it off for other stuff I need (fillers, a better 86 grill, valve springs, dual fans, the list is long).

Help me decide...and if you have stuff I need and you're looking for a driver quality 87 grill lemme know.

-87 Grill

My original was broken when I bought my car (deer), and the prior owner had bought a new '87 piece and left it in the trunk for me. Glad he did. I think its looks better myself.

Do what you like!!! I have the 85 grill on my REAL 87 GN...and I have a beautiful 87 grill from Pauly sitting in the garage!!!

Aaron i have an 87 on my 86 and pre orderd the one from epitome withe the head light bezels but in the end its all up to you i like the 87 grill much better makes the car look meaner

Personally I like the 86 because you don't see them as often. The 87 does look meaner though.

87 grill looks way better. If I had an 86 I'd change the grill right away.

I like the 86 better, in the end just do what you're happy with and don't worry about pissing people off

I did it on my 86 since I wouldn't cut up a nice 86 grill for my front mount.

I honestly like both.

If I ever wind up with another GN, it'll probably be an '86 just so I can have both grills.

The 84 Grill I have isn't so bad.

I like the 87 though. Much nicer.

Huber is 100% right. It's your car do what you want. Huber's 85 grille tripped me when it was on the dyno. When I had the 87 Limited I seriously thought about taking the chrome and flat hood of off it and putting my car. Like Murphster's sleeper. But was just to lazy to do it.
