Right-Angle USB Cords

Bill (Timevacuum) posted this in the Powerlogger forums and I could DEFINITELY use this, as I imagine others might too. Hell I could think of a few other places I could use right-angle usb cords.

Anyways, anyone interested in a group purchase? Save a few bucks in the process. I'll check my other electronics catalogs to see if anyone else sells these.

NTC Distributing USB Angled Cables

Thanks again Bill!

I'll take at least one! I'd like to see if both ends on a right angle would work. You might be able to hide the cable in the ECM holder, run it under the carpet and come up under the seat. So you can keep it hooked up all the time. I'm always worried about a passenger stomping on the connector!

Radio shack has these octopus style usb hubs - I may pick one of those up, ziptie it into the console somewhere, and the be able to keep one cord tucked under the console for the laptop, but also be able to have that little keyboard I have attached somehow as well. I hate having cables laying in the car, its bad enough I stare at them all day at work.

Thats why I'm hoping we can combine them :-)

I have meetings all week at work, once I get some time to think about it I'll gather up a list of what I need. If anyone wants to post which exact ones they want I'll call and see what I can do.

I love the drop light hanging in the nest. That pic is from the System Admin Day web site. They have some other pics like raw sewage in the drop floor.

My server room started to look like that, only on a smaller basis. We redid it but Gixxer (and I) went a little nuts with zip ties. I ended up having to cut off half of them when I could even move equipment I needed to access.

Do NOT use zip ties...

VELCRO.

Zip ties could get you fired around here, lol.

Jeff,
Do you have a head count on how many to order? I will soon place a order if you don't, with my little guys it's just a matter of time before my Powerlogger board gets that USB port stomped off of it. I should try to make something to protect that area on the floor.... even with the new cord.
