| MAGNA invited - Kirban/SyTy Turbo 6 event Former longtime GN owner here. Used to be active on gnttype.org listserve, former member of BGNRA, BCA L.A. Chapter. I had a stock '87, multi-award winning car when I lived in Southern California. Sold it in 2001 shortly after moving back to PA. I now have a Syclone...which was featured in the Dec. 2005 issue of GMHTP magazine. Before I moved back, I know there used to be a Turbo 6 show in Quakertown or Phoenixville? Well, I'm hoping to sort of revive that experience by getting the TR and SyTy worlds together for a day. This is not a show however, just a meet. Here's the scoop: Bucks County (Plumsteadville and Chalfont) Sat October 7th, 1pm - 9 pm The first annual "Whine Tour" in Central Bucks. (Whine as in turbo whine) A three-stage event for all GM Turbo-6 vehicles hosted by Dennis Kirban and Exotic Koncepts. Stage One: Meet at Dennis Kirban's Open House at 1:00 pm in Plumsteadville PA.** 6201 Keller's Church Rd., 1/2 mile west off of Rt. 611. Here's the map: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.ad...ry=US&geodiff=1 (Zoom in to see Keller's Church) **Note: Kirban's Open House begins at 9 am (free donuts to earlybirds!) and ends at 4pm. There are specially priced TR items, door prizes and more. Stage Two: Cruise to Exotic Koncepts at 4:00 pm.4309 County Line Rd. Chalfont 18914 Map:http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.ad...=&zipcode=18914 Cruise Route, 11 miles: http://www.mapquest.com/directions/...A&2z=18914-1823 Stage Three: Hang out and BBQ at Exotic Koncepts until?? Bring food to barbeque. Sorry, no alcohol. Rain date for the entire event is October 8th. This is open to SyTy's, TR's, TTA's or conversions powered by Turbo-6. This is a casual meet, not a show. There will be no voting, entrance fees, or trophies. Maybe next time. For more information, contact me at Safsbay@yahoo.com Hope to see you there. Admin: Stick? Sorry about the links. They've been cut and pasted a few times so probably lost parts of the URL. Here are some new ones: Kirban's Place 6201 Keller's Church Rd. Plumsteadville 18949 (Just north of Doylestown, off of 611...zoom in to see street) http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp...&zipcode=18949 Exotic Koncepts 4309 County Line Rd. Chalfont PA 18914 (not far from 5-points, 309, 202, Horsham Rd. etc) http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp...&zipcode=18914 I'll have "cruise route" maps on hand at Kirban's even though most will caravan over to Exotic K. Yeah, gnetic86...I guess that's the show I was thinking of. I had BIG dreams of showing up with my 87 in 2001 with my Cali tags still on the car. But I remember having a flu and couldn't go. Looking forward to meeting you all on October 7th!
