The 20 participation points go to whoever attends all 5 (or in this case, all non-rained-out events) and races.

Basically if you stage the car for first round of eliminations, you get 30 points. If you lose, you get 30 for participation really. If you win, and go to next round, you get the additional 10 pts (total 40) and so on, depending on the fate of your following rounds.

Bill: Thanks for my burnout picture! I've been wanting one. My mother was there and took a couple. The one below which came out pretty nice too.

The cone!!

I think it is what brought me good luck. From now on, each race day I'm stopping on the side of the road to pick up a spare construction cone!

Nice pictures Bill, that front tire is ready to lift ..... yea sure, in my dreams, now if I would have just turned up the boost(ran 19), had slicks, thrown away that 6 year old alky system and put race gas in there(ran pump 93) and had a new chip burned for racing, got rid of that stock converter... oh had ... uh oh, this is the domino effect kicking in
But seriously that's sure is a lot of fun, racing. For you guys that have not tried it, no matter what mods are on the car, it would still be fun. No worry about a ticket, no idiot pulling out in front of you... you get the picture.

Chuck

Big thanks to all who helped me pop my 1/4 mile cherry.... and I didn't break the car . Special thanks to all the great people that I met today, and for Banning explaining and giving us new guys a tour before everything got crazy!!

Oops all must forgot best time... 12.751 @ 108.08 mph on street radials. I think a big problem was that I could not build boost with out red lighting, had to go out the gate at about 1/3-1/2 throttle.

Travis wants me to tell everyone, " I had a great time and we where the first ones at the track this morning....we even beat the money takers"

Chuck
Chuck, I didn't see your link to the pictures till now.

FANTASTIC PICTURES!!!

Thanks!
-Banning.

LOL! Will it ever end??

It's alright Gregg, I was right behind you doing the loser-lap to the pits. We could always join forces and attack ol' Bronson at Atco next month. Gotta keep an eye on Huber too, since he tends to pull lucky streaks out of his [hairy] ass.

Banning, the DOT may have an issue with your definition of 'spare'.
