Directions To Hooperpalooza 2006

FROM DELAWARE, MARYLAND & SOUTHERN PA.

Unless you are familiar with the RT. 295 interchange in Bellmawr I suggest you come up I 95 to the Walt Whitman Bridge or take the NJ Turnpike north.

FROM THE NJ TURNPIKE NORTH & SOUTH

Take exit 3 the Bellmawr interchange, take the 1st exit to the right after going through the tolls and get on 168 North. 2nd light will be Browning Rd (2 blocks) there is a Walgreens there turn left. Bear left at the 7-11 (Creek Rd) go 1/2 mile over RT 42 bridge (there is a WAWA and a gas station there) then make your 1st left AFTER the bridge (Harding Ave) this will put you on 42 south towards Atlantic City. Stay on 42 south for about 3 miles to EXIT 8 - Blackwood, Pine Hill, Clementon. Come off the ramp and stay to the right and go under the overpass then turn right at the first light, there are two gas stations there, this is Erial Rd. Stay straight on Erial Rd and go down three lights (there is a CVS store) keep going straight. About 1/8 mile past the CVS make your first right onto Briar Lane then turn left at the first street Primrose Lane. Hooper’s is the last house on the left.

Go back the same way, turn left at the light at Highland High School and the ramp for RT 42 north is on the right. You will just have to get off at the Bellmawr/Creek Rd exit from 42, turn left just past the gas station then turn right onto Creek Road.

FROM THE WALT WHITMAN BRIDGE/ BEN FRANKLIN BRIDGES

Take 676 south to Rt 42 south towards Atlantic City. Stay on 42 south for about 3 miles to EXIT 8 - Blackwood, Pine Hill, Clementon. Come off the ramp and stay to the right and go under the overpass then turn right at the first light, there are two gas stations there, this is Erial Rd. Go back the same way, turn left at the light at Highland High School and the ramp for RT 42 north is on the right.

FROM RT 295 SOUTH

Follow the signs to RT 42 south towards Atlantic City when you are going through the Bellmawr area. Go back the same way, turn left at the light at Highland High School and the ramp for RT 42 north is on the right.

FROM THE ATLANTIC CITY EXPRESSWAY

Take the A/C Expressway to the end and where Rt 42 north begins. Go about 1-2 miles to EXIT 9A Coles Road. Turn right at the top of the ramp cross over Rt 42 then turn left and get back onto Rt 42 south, stay to your right because EXIT 8 is right there. Take EXIT 8 - Blackwood, Pine Hill, Clementon. ANYBODY USING THE NJ TURNPIKE PLEASE READ

Bellmawr is starting their parade at 11:00 am and the parade route is the way I told you to go. Also for the ones that know their way through Runnemede they also have a parade that goes down the Black Horse Pike sometime around noon too.

Here is an alternate route that will bypass the parade routes.

Still use Exit 3 and take the first right past the tolls. As soon as you get on 168 north get over to your left and turn left at the first light now, there is a Wendys on the corner, this is Beningo Blvd (FYI it's 25 mph). Follow this all the way through the industrial park to the stop sign, Rt 42 is right there. Make a right and a quick left, up past the gas station and Wawa to the next stop sign, this will be Creek Road. Turn left onto Creek Rd, cross over the Rt 42 bridge and make your first left onto Harding Ave to Rt 42 south.

Now returning when you get off the Bellmawr Creek Rd exit make the first right as soon as you get off the exit, this is Beningo Blvd.
