| ran my dad in the GN with my cobra at cecil well i wanted to see what it would run and i went with my dad and he was racing the GN. I ran him both time and he beat me but not bad. waite till i get an exhaust pulley and a tune:evilgrin: the first run i ran a 13.1@109 and my da ran a 12.7@107 the second run i ran a 12.9@111 and he ran a 12.7@103. but the GN is having some problems i think our chip is holding but the car can't get it to go faster than a 12.6 no matter what the boost or timing or anything. i'm ordering a turbotweak chip hopefully that helps. i think i did all right in the cobra ive only had the car a week and it has 95 cobra R wheels with 245 tires (it came with 275) so i launched real easy i had a 2.1 60' both times i'am happy i ran into the 12s with a bone stock car -Tim

| Not bad at all for the Cobra. They definitely make the power stock. Just need a good enough driver to bang the gears. Apparently you're not too shabby. The GN should run waaaay better then that with the work you guys have put into it. I hope you get it straightened out. Should easily see some much better times.. somewhere in the 11's anyway.

| It's good to hear that you got a prompt lesson in what the tail lights on a G Body Buick look like. ![]() In all seriousness though, those newer Cobras are good running cars. Great bang for the buck. I'm just giving you crap because you are posting that stuff here... on a Buick board. P.S. Your Buick should have ran a good bit faster. -Banning.

| well were ordering a new chip and direct scan within the week so hopefully the wakes the car up. i think the race would have been alot closer if i had sticky tires also because in the top end i was catching up fast. soon i plan on getting exhaust intake and shifter so that should really help the car should put over 400 to the wheels -Tim
