| ----------------------------------------------------- Hello, I would like to introduce myself, my name is Tony Guevara. I am the Event Director for The American Iron Shootout (http://www.americanironshootout.com) that will be held at Cecil County Dragway on May 17th, 2003. This event is to benefit two great causes, the EdBlock Association (http://www.edblock.com) and the New York City Police Benevolent Association Widows and Children Fund (http://www.nycpba.org). All the proceeds from this racing event will be split among both charities. I write to you because I feel that your club would be a great addition to the theme of this event, "American Iron". This day of racing will only have the best in "American" muscle. We will have a mixture of classes that will be running that day to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the day and at the same time, possibly make some money in return. There is (2) Street Tire classes, (1) Open Comp class, (1) Quick 8 class, (1) V6 Class, and the new and exciting class of Outlaw Index (http://www.goDragRacing.com). With a group like yours, it can only add more excitement to an already exciting event. We offer group discounts to groups willing to participate in this event. You can find out all the details regarding the discounts by checking out the official website of The American Iron Shootout (http://www.americanironshootout.com). We would be honored if your club would participate in this event. If you should have any questions regarding anything discussed in this email or any other general questions regarding the event, please do not hesitate to ask. Regards, Tony Guevara Event Director http://www.americanironshootout.com ----------------------------------------------------- [ March 21, 2003, 12:32 PM: Message edited by: GrndNatnl ]

Sounds interesting. However, since that is the "Cruisin' Ocean City" (Ocean City, MD) weekend, I'll probably be there. -Banning.

Ah, you're right! Just glanced at the calendar and realized that! I'm still on for Ocean City. Anyone that cant make it to OC for any reason, but still wants some excitment for that particular weekend should at least check out the AIS at Cecil.
