I'm not racing this year, so theres no deadlines for me to push.

I doubt the Crystal Inn will have many rooms free. This is usually a big event that brings a lot of racers. The past couple years it's gotten smaller, however this year looks like its going to be large again.

Update:
I went and dropped off my payment for Saturday's race ticket tonight and got some more info for everyone regarding the planed activities at the track...

- You can STILL send in your advanced registration for the event. The price is the same, you'll just have to pick up the tickets at the gate. Prices at the track will still be $50 though. Send your payment in ASAP to avoid the higher price!

- Friday is an ALL day test & tune for US. There should not be anyone else there. There also should be a lane open that night when the other Friday Night racers are racing.

- There really isn't going to be a car show on Saturday. At least not a formal one. There will not be any trophy's for the SHOW. If you are racing and end early, you are welcome to pull the car up and park it in the "show area" along the fence near the entrance.

- Don't expect professioinal photography at the track. Some of the organizers WILL be taking photos, but I don't know what the quality of these photos are, if they'll be for sale or not, or how/if they'll be distributed... but *some sort* of photography will be taking placce.

Hope that helps.

Question

Wonder why they are flexible with the deadline and no car show. Are they having trouble getting enough people to race?

Plenty of different fuels at the depot, however its all leaded that I know of. Best bet is to mix up some Xylene.

Also, the Sunoco down the road on Rt 40 & 272 has either 98 or GT-100. Used to be 98, then they rebuilt the place, so I'm not sure what they have now. May or may not have upgraded.

If I remember correctly they carry Sunoco and CamII race fuels. If running race gas, I get what I believe Sunoco calls their "Maximal"... which I think is about 116 octane.

They may have 104 unleaded. Call the track to find out for sure.
