As previously mentioned, some recommendations for body shops would also be helpful. It's time to spray one of our cars, and I'd like to find someone we can trust.

Lightbulb Auto Shop in NJ

I have seen a shop and heard a little about it in Wayne/Butler (Northern)N.J called "Stage 1". They are located on Rt 23 N in Wayne I believe. You'll always see GN's sittin in front of the shop, but I personally do not have any experience with them. If anyone knows about them, please let me know.

My Opinion

Having deal with alot of the shops mentioned and just read this post, I thought i would share .. first, dave hentz is no longer doing buicks, said they were junk and is going in other directions.. second, dan smith is a good machinist but a horrible installer-had to replace cam and lifters as well as hot wire altenator [corrected by jim dunn and bill anderson- highly recommend either] steve kaminski is currently working on my newest acquistion - bye-bye birdie.. getting it to past delaware inspection, then will fatting up for track. but still needs updating in other areas .. body shop - BEAR COLLISION Rt 72 wrangle hill rd bear del 832 7199 , did my 1987 WE-4 stripped ,nose and bumpers off, glass pulled for 3500.00 .. thats all for now..

Just wanted to jump in and say Jim Dunn has been the Turbo Doc on my car since I purchased it. I would highly recommend Jim and the rest of the surgeons at Buick Turbo Performance.Excellent work Jim.

Just wanted to add my mechanic of choice!

Michael's Automotive & Transmissions
White Horse Pike
Waterford , NJ
856-753-0035

Mike worked and tuned my WE4 and it is running awesome. He owns two TR's, one hot air, one intercooled. He is a certified mechanic, and recently opened his own shop. He knows his sh*t, and is a great guy. I HIGHLY RECOMEND HIM!!!!!
He also is working on my 87 SS too!

Thanks
Jason

I want to Give thumbs up to Jim Dunn and Mike of Micheals Automotive & Transmissions.
Dunn pretty much did all the work to my car except and not one complaint. Very honest, helpful and just good guy all around. When I had my tranny messing up on me he actually told me to go to Micheals because he would be cheaper and better then He would! How many mechanics do that?

And well for Mike,.... Same as above execpt for the part recommending himself for himself
