Exclamation Why u don't go to the local Engine Builder!!

For those of you whom don't know, but I hope most of you do by now. The 3.8 in our cars is a unique beast, in that it requires tight tolerances on the main bearings and etc. For years we have heard how the local engine builders screwed up their 3.8. For those of you that are not aware, GMHTP has an article just on this. It is a three part series. So go pick up the mag or check out the link below for part 1: http://www.gmhightechperformance.com...2_tech01.shtml

Knowledge is power. This is a good article, it highlights the reliability issues that are mandatory for the buick motors. Alot of guys will say they want the best, but don't know what that really is, or they'll go to a machine shop and say they want it 'race prepped' - If you don't know what to ask for, you get what you deserve. There are local builders that CAN do the job, but it's up to YOU to tell them exactly what you want.

or just screw the whole thing and order it up from the states...
