does turbo size matter that much in a chip setup?

at turbo tweak they ask what turbo do you have an im not tottaly sure of the turbo on my car i believe its a Te44 so i'd prolly put that down..if i am wrong will it really mess up things?

At street boost levels, that will be close enough. It also somewhat depends on the rest of the combo.

To add to Erics answer, I used to ask because I would play with fuel and timing to get them to spool better, and needed to know STD or HD actuator since the wastegate settings are different
