Too vague of a question.. specs like what cam, turbo, weight of vehicle, etc.

I cant see why mid 9's cant be done. Probably even faster on the StageII's

yeah 10.7 126 sounds impressive but he plans to run in a regal chassis so take your impressive numbers and toss them at a car that weighs 3600# and that 10.7 would be a 12.6 at 108

Walt Judy just went 9.3 and set the TSM record with stock ported iron heads. He also has a stock ECM with Max Effort. I've seen alot more Champion cracked aluminum heads then ported irons. For street/strip iron is the way to go.

In the 9's I'm sure the Champ aluminums will get you an extra few tenths but I would noway label them reliable. Nothing on the motor is reliable in the 9"s

Why not try the TAP heads and see if they don't last longer?

Ya noticed that huh!

Although there is less than an 800lb difference. So I doubt you'd loose 2 seconds. More like 11.56 @ 115.85.

Maybe take a tenth out of that for "brick like" aerodynamics.
