1987 grand national running rough

i have a 87 gn that will start but it will only run for a few seconds. if i feather the throttle it will run a little longer. it kinda spits and sputters like the fuelpump is bad. its acting like a carburated car would with a bad accelerator pump. can you recomend a fix or any checks i can do.

Post your location.

Is the check engine light on when it's running?

have you done the basics, like look at the plugs, wires, crank sensor bracket, harmonic balancer bolt, fuel pressure, vacuum hoses, etc...

well i got the thing running

i got it running. I have been looking on ebay and craigslist and a car with 81k miles all original with perfect interior and paint that has been kept in the garage should sell for around 14-16k. i payed 12,500 for one that had 112k miles and has a bunch of bolt on mods that looks and drives perfect.I kinda figured that a all stock one would maybe be worth a little more. Maybe i will just keep it. I did only pay 8500 with a bad fuel pump. and it has 81k miles on it two owners.
