All I see is a hood and some blackout trim. The additional options didn't include a posi rear end so that one doesn't help.

I saw that..,,but thats what dealers and insurance companies look at....I just posted what I found....there is an old saying "there is a seat for every arse"

If the car was mint and had zero issues and I wanted an 84 knowing that it would never be as quick or fast as an 86/87 then I would buy it...but I would buy it knowing it is not an 86/87

Fronts are probably dirty because of the brake dust. I don't like how they painted the grill. Poor pictures, hard to tell anything.

Why would you spend $6500 on a piece of junk '84 turbo regal when you can get something like this for the same price?

1987 White Turbo T

If you are willing to spend $5000 more than it's worth I've got some things for sale you would love!

ok guys heres the deal im going to look at a 1984 buick t type which came factor black and somone put grand national badges on. Heres what im going to need:

1. what is a 1984 buick t type regal worth with 53,000 miles and no rust a solid car but needs new tires its on the original factoer installed tires

2. What would it be worth if it was a grand national rather than a t type

3. And finally because it is lacking an intercooler how much of a differnet will that make in price and power

thanks again
John

what are your goals for the car? alot of guys like to bash on the 84/85 hot airs when somebody starts enquiring about them... i think is because they automatically think the buyer is wanting a 10 or 11 second 1/4 mile car.

due to chip technology coming along way in the last several years (86/87 ecm swap is as easy as swapping a maf sensor and installing iat sensor), with a good alky kit, powerlogger, wideband, and a turbotweak chip and a very good understanding of what the ecm sees/does, along with the other few must-have bolt-ons...... you can almost build a 12 sec hot air nearly for same price as what you'd build a 12 sec intercooled car providing you bought the hot air at the usually much cheaper price than you would've bought the intercooled car for. going faster than mid 12's gets expensive on a factory style hot air setup though. and a intercooled car is alot easier to work on than a hot air due to turbo location which is something else to keep in mind

imo, the car in that ad would be only worth that price if it was at least a 9.8 out of ten, and its apperantly not. if its completely rust free and runs/drives smooth and quiet and no other issues, i think about $4,200 is about the max you should give for it. just my 2 cents

This is from someone who owned one.
There are hardly any parts available.
No one likes to/knows how to work on them.
and they are worth 50% less.
Why do you have your heart set on that turd if its a buyers market out there?
You can get a really great deal now-a-days.
