Valve Covers Leaking

Okay, I've got the TA Performance low profile valve covers and they are both leaking. I've always had luck with the Victor Rienz cork gaskets, but with these new valve covers, I can't get them sealed up. Does anyone have these valve covers? What gaskets are you using?

Chris,I used cork, rubber and the permadry. I like rubber the best. The permadry's are nice, but they are starting to leak by the AC box on my 60k GN.

I'm just wondering if it's the valve cover design. I've never had a problem with leaking gaskets before.

Chris, is that the cause of your leak and not the front seal?

No, this is an additional leak.

My driver side rear is leaking and I only have about 50 miles on the car since installing. FelPro cork/rubber gaskets. I was hoping I just had to retorque them, but maybe there are other issues since I'm not the only one.

Try re-torquing, but I'm wondering if it might be those little half-moon breathers.

Had similar issues sealing valve covers.. and that's why I went back to the stock valve covers with RJC spacers!

I'm not getting any leaks out of the breathers like I was with my old covers and push in breathers. My leak is definitely the gasket beacause the tops and sides are dry. I know the channel that the gasket fits into is not as good as the stock covers. Seems the gasket has too much room to slide around.
