Arrow Help with my 1987 Buick Regal T

I have a 1987 Buick Regal T 3.8 Turbo all Factory Original.
Can someone till me were the Automatic Choke is located?
I feel that the Choke isn't working I checked the fuses they'er O.K.

The last problem with the Engine I had was :

While running the engine If I would give it more gas It would Pop and Crack
Like if there was Two Cowboys jumped out of the back end of the car and just started shooting it all up!

Well,
The Two cowboys Stopped shooting after I replaced the Map Sencor!
And as for the Brake Caliper Bleeders .They were Broke Off.

I just bought this car and trying to figure out all the fixes.

What does a 1987 Buick Regal T $ Price going for today?
I'm thinking about selling!
I noticed that alot of 1987s people removed the powermaster and went to Hydro-vac.
I also, noticed that people do alot of modifying to the Engine.

Things I dont understand is what people mean when they state things about there engine modifications as: #44 injectors,Chip...ect:
Were is the Chip located that people Change?
I thought I seen a Chip inside the instrument Panel when I had to replace the GEN Light Bulb Because, the system wasn't Charging.
And last if I change the type of Chip what else do I need to change?
Thanks !
I know lots of questions

The electric choke is located in the ECM area, it is controlled by a braided steel cable running from the ECM through the firewall grommet out to the carburetor.

PS: If you change the chip you also need to change your underwear.

Good luck with your 1987 Buick Regal T 3.8 Turbo all Factory Original.

Those cowboys ain't stock that's fer sure.

Studly256,
You have a lot to learn about these Beasts, we all had to learn. You need to read, read, & read some more about the Turbo Buicks. I've attached a couple of links that may help you out below. This will get you started, there is tons of info on GN's there.

gnttype.org is a good site to read up at. Spend time there to absorb and learn! Audie1 supplied that to you as it's the second link he posted. Don't do any modifications until you have a good knowledge base. I also sent you a private message on this site a couple weeks ago to try and help you with your powermaster questions- did you get it and read it? Last question- where are you located? You may be able to visit someone local to you with one of these cars that can help you learn. Best advise I could give to you right now is not to get impatient.

if you see the choke light come on that means low oil pressure..

the best way to get the cowboys out is to send in indians and have them run out the tailpipes.. that will cause for a clean running no cowboy motor

Exclamation help Me Please with my 1987 Buick Regal T (Help?)

Now a new problem:
I replaced the Map Sencor. It idels fine But when I put the pedal down 3/4 ways .It starts Popping and Craking.More cowboys coming out Fireing away!

When I rev it up .It blows the Vacume line off of the Map Sencor.
Anyone know why?
I did find a hose off under were the Turbo Mounts on. The hose came off of the thing that has a rod Sprung loaded looks as if its for the exhaust for the Turbo.
With that hose off would that cause the Vac/line to blow off of the Map Sencor?
because, Now the Map Sencor don't work again I get GM Code 33 and either 34 or 43 don't remember now one of the two.

I blowed 3 Map Sencors now!

All Before I found the Hose off of the Turbo exhaust Rod /Open/Close valve.
I checked the Fuses none blowed.

I also Reset Computer between Map Sencors.

I'm at my last Rope on this thing!

I did notice that as I reved it up I loose Vacume from the Vacume line leading to the Map Sencor is that Normal?

I also, Noticed that when I unplug the Map sencor the Turbo Display on the Dash stops working. Is that Normal?

"Last question:"
What I was talking about above .About the Lines going to the Turbo(Turbine).
I see 1 "Rubber Hose"line going to the Turbo.
And 1 "Rubber Hose"line going to (looks like a Vacume canister with a rod for the exhaust) Both line T together if that helps.
My question is should those lines: have Vacume Or not?
Because, I don't get Vacume from those 2 lines.
The lines then go or lead to a Black Plastic Block with a electrical Plun in.
Can anyone Help me?

NOTE: Seems When I rev it up! The Map sencors stop working.
I think that Sence that hose was off of that Vacume canister thing with a rod .The Air wasn't releasing and caused the air to back Track and blowed the Vacume line off of the Map Sencor.Could that happen?
I need help

Tell us where you live and maybe there is someone near you who can lend a helping hand. If your car is a completely stock 3.8 SFI turbo, then the MAP sensor has nothing to do with how your car runs. (it only sends a signal to the boost gauge) It is probably an ignition issue, usually a bad coil pack. The timing chain my have skipped a tooth (or two) also. Do a compression test, and post the numbers. Might be a burned valve, blown head gasket, bad fuel pump/clogged fuel filter..................Here are the things I would check first:
1) fuel pressure It should be 32-36 psi at idle
2) spark plugs/wires/coil pack (need a digital volt-ohm meter)
3) compression 125-150 across the board
4) MAF sensor Located in the big hose attatched to the airfilter housing elbow. (tap on it with a screw driver handle and if it is bad it will run even worse. Go easy, though, as you could break the poor thing)
5) Get with someone in your area that KNOWS these cars. IT might be something REAL simple and cheap. A MAP sensor is expensive and unfortunately was a TOTAL waste of your money. The car will run perfect with it completely removed (as long as you plug the vacuum line)
Post the answers to these questions and we will help out.

A wise Turbo Buick goo-roo once told me, until those Cowboys start using Dyn-O-Mite, you ain't got no problems.

He also said, Trolls are real people too.

THE MAP SENCOR HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HOW THE CAR RUNS, ITS SOLE PURPOSE IN LIFE IS ONLY FOR THE GAUGE IN THE DASH.
