Turbo Flange Gasket

I noticed I have an exhaust leak on my car. It's coming from the Turbo mounting flange. I'm using a TE60 with the copper gasket from Precesion Turbo mounted onto stock manifold. Is there any gasket that is better or is it just the nature of the beast and get used to it? Thanks!

RJC racing sells one,so does the store on this site. Coppers leak more than they seal.

In my experience the copper gasket will seal up at first but the end result is a warped header. This is because the gasket has a ridged lip all the way around it that is supposed to crush creating a seal. Problem is it doesn't crush and just bends the flange on the header. After a few heat cycles or especially some track passes and you'll never get it to seal properly unless you file the header flange flat or use a better gasket.

If you want a gasket that addresses this problem see the link below. It will seal up a warped header and is reusable.

I was suspecting that since it is leaking between the 2 bolts. Thanks for the link. I will start filing and use one of those gaskets. Need to contact them on the shipping. 15 bucks for 3 gaskets? OUCH! They had some nice jackets on there too!

I just got alerted of this post. The store calculated too much shipping on multiple gaskets. I adjusted the shipping. On 3 gaskets sent USPS Priority (I send everything USPS) is $10.55 to Cali. If anyone has questions or a problem with something I'm selling, please email me at Bill@SpecialAdditions.com
The 3 bolt turbo flange gasket works great. I also have turbo to downpipe gasket. The THDP seems to leak right under the puck. This gasket cures that. Fits the stock elbow too.
