I've never driven over a Crank, you can tune to 25# on alky on a stock GN quite easly, that would put you low 12 maybe high 11, all depends on the driver, tires and what boost you leave the line on, to run tens it's all about combnation. there are lots of guys running 12s with 10 second parts. 25# in a Stock GN and 25# in a 10 second car cannot be compared. take a lot of tuning to run that much boost and not drive over the crank.

If I was looking for a stock replacement for a 82-85 daily driver hotair, then I might think about it. But I have a VERY heavy foot and love the track..so those type of engines are out for me. I've already had a hack work on my 83 and I'm playing the price of that many times over Don't get me wrong, I don't like paying any more than I have to for something, but you do pay for what you get.

| What do you mean, what is the most cost effective way to go? According to your signature, you have a low 11 second combination. If you have not taken it to the track, that is your problem. Why did you spend all that money, and now ask about cost effective combinations? Take the damn thing to the track, and, then start another thread
