Cam break in

If one were to replace the cam on the turbo buick, of course following the cam manufacturer's break in procedure, what do you do about the fault code you get from I think the speed sensor? I noticed while doing cleaning that if the ECM sees rpm above a certain threshold for a certain time that it trips a fault code. So, if one were to do a 10 minute break in on a cam at above idle rpms in park, or for that matter an engine break in, how would you avoid this fault code and does if effect or hurt any thing? Any one have any thoughts on what they did for a cam break in or even an engine break in to deal with this? Just curious because I might do a cam swap in the future.

Thanks.

I had it the other day. Just ignore it...it does not affect the performance while it is lit, and, it goes away when you restart the car later.

Thanks guys, makes me feel better about a future cam swap. I thought it would go in some derate or limp home mode and potentially damage a cam swap when I perform one. I will do the transmission in park and the cam manufacturer's recommended time and procedure when I swap in a cam.

Thanks again.
