Help! Did the Vacuum Brake Conversion, and now Brake lights don't work!

Hello! First post here, and I need some help!

My mechanic has just completed the conversion to Vacuum brakes using the system from MPBrakes. The brakes themselves work fine, however, the brake lights have stopped working, except for the third brake light, which seems to work fine!

Anyone have any ideas as to why this has happened and how how to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

Check you brake light switches by the pedal. Most likely he's got them dicked up.

Do as NOCOOLER says and check the small switches on the back of the brake pedal up underneath the dash. Has your torque converter also stopped locking up as well??? If so it could be because that switch isn't set properly against the new brake pedal.

When I got my second GN it had been converted to vacuum and the torque converter wouldn't lock up so I looked up at the brake pedal and sure enough the one switch was out of adjustment. I pushed it in a bit and the lock up has worked fine ever since.

Thanks guys. I'll let my tech know first thing in the morning and post the results as soon as I find out!

I passed all the suggestions on to my tech guy. After a lot of troubleshooting, he adjusted the tilt wheel all the way up and the brake lights worked fine! Needless to say, a new harness is on the way.

Thanks for your help!
